Our Story

Ambre Tessier Couture began with me, Ambre, a 17-year-old designer with a love for creating things by hand. Sewing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started small and over time, that curiosity became a real passion for fashion, garment construction and the details that make a piece feel special.

I created Ambre Tessier Couture because I wanted to design trousers that I couldn’t find anywhere else: pieces that feel elegant and refined, but still have personality. Each pair is handmade in Paris, in the historic Sentier district, a neighbourhood that has been at the heart of Parisian textile and garment making for generations. Being made there gives the brand a connection to the craftsmanship and history that first made me fall in love with fashion.

Personalisation is at the heart of the brand. Fabrics, colours, buttons, lace and embroidery can be chosen to create a piece that feels personal to the woman wearing it. I don’t want to create clothes that are worn once and forgotten. I want each pair of trousers to feel considered, personal and made to last.

Growing up between Paris and Monaco has also shaped the identity of the brand: Paris for its creativity, craftsmanship and fashion history, and Monaco for its elegance and effortless evening style.

Ambre Tessier Couture is still at the beginning of its story — and so am I. For me, that is what makes it exciting. The brand is growing alongside me, with every piece representing a little more of what I am learning, imagining and becoming as a designer.
